Anyone have any experience with the cost and options to level sloped floors in an older pier and beam house?

While I will buy older properties built in the early 1900s in this area, what I want in those places is a poured or block basement a well-supported main beam, preferably a steel beam with steel lally columns.

The basement is functional as a family area but has old tile flooring and exposed beams / piping.

it's on a crawlspace about 3-4' high. walls (no support beams).i think i may have seen cracks, on the inside of the house drywall thru the ceiling originating from the crack. i'm going there in an hour to verify this. also, i'm going into the crawl to see if the cracks are down in the crawl as well.house was bulit in 1960.is it a house or a mouse?

The issue is the beams that are supporting the roof.
