I'm pretty excited because I know I'll be meeting lots of people in pro real estate circles and my work schedule will be more conducive to giving me time and energy to build up the REI business while working full time.  

I come form a construction background and will be offering my money as well as my skills, tools, and energy.  

I really liked what @Tyler Flagg says in his first bullet when he says call him. 

I believe VRBO estimated that their average homeowner spends around 8 hours a week self-managing, so if you have the time and energy to self-manage (and depending on how you value your time), it may be worth it - especially if you're going to be traveling. 

Even with the current subsidies, solar energy systems don't generate enough power to pay for itself over any reasonable timeframe.

I am just focusing my energy on finding a flip right now, thats been a goal of mine for this year so I'm really trying to be dilligent in making that happen!

Sometimes, you pick your battles and what is really worth your time and energy to fight.
