@Yna P.Go hit up the Navy Base Housing, have your place listed (they’ll need to inspect) and switch to MTR/LTR for personnel waiting for Navy Housing in the area.

I did post here as a newbie once before in late 2019 as I was separating from the Navy (Intelligence Analyst) and starting a defense contracting position; But once COVID hit, I lost the focus I had and life took over and I focused more on growing my W2 income.

I'll be traveling for work (Navy) very often - 1-2 weeks per month plus a 6 month deployment at some point - and I'm looking for some insight from people that are successfully doing Airbnb in San Diego.

We have 2 hospitals (with a new one coming soon on PCB), a shipbuilding company (with contractors), 2 colleges, 2 military bases (Air Force in PC; Navy in PCB), and the AF Base is not rebuilding the housing that was damaged in Hurricane Michael.I own 4 STRs in PC and am the longest-running host in the city. 

From there, I house hacked a bedroom with a tenant (didn't know it was called that back then) and eventually departed the residence after 2 years or so and rented the entire home out to an active duty Navy couple. 

Navy Federal refi is preferred due to long standing relationship and low rates.
