It depends partially on your local PHA, but mostly on whether she is currently on a Section 8 voucher (and her rent has just stagnated) or has she just received one she is intending to use on her current unit?

BP, I've got a great candidate for a tenant and they are a CityFHEPS voucher holder.

I would hope that if a section 8 tenant trashes a house and you report it to Section 8 folks, the voucher would be taken away from the tenant.

DO NOT use HUD's maximum rent allowance as a metric for determining your own market rent.Moreover, when a section 8 tenant applies for rental assistance, the housing provider will essentially underwrite their application to determine their voucher amount.

The bill (which you can read here) does more than just prohibit refusing to accept vouchers (and, of course, nothing will be done to make the notoriously slow and difficult Section 8 bureaucracy easier to work with).

Likely being due to the current increase in rental voucher payouts back in October of 23. 

These are mostly in the nicer suburbs.I'm currently looking into buying properties for 100k< and renting them out to section 8 voucher tenants.

Otherwise, what if they have a substantial increase in income and lose the voucher?

Still getting information but seems similar concept to section 8 vouchers but for veterans.
