Building leaders and entrepreneurs will be a win-win for the company and for individuals.

From my research it seemed as if the two leaders were AppFolio and buildium but the price reflected this. 

I was looking at Real Geeks or Market Leader.

We made a terrible error when we started calling them leaders and stopped calling them representatives.  

To paraphrase a great leader: "Ask not what your community can do for you; ask what you can do for your community".  

Also be mindful of the fact property management is generally viewed as a loss leader in the industry and many make the mistake of self managing through employees  which costs more than hiring a 3rd party firm that has scale to offer mroe back office support, technology, in-house maintenance staff etc.
