There's no lump sum, just monthly mentoring and marketing costs that I would cover with a business line of credit at 0% for 6 months until I get my first deal.On the other hand for a one time fee of a couple K I could quickly learn the sales system of a very successful REI group, JV a couplebof much smaller, transactional deals with them and then use that $ earned to fund the apprenticeship.

Hello BP Family,I am just starting out on my real estate journey (at 19) and I have heard from many investors that the best thing I could do before getting my feet entirely wet would be to either become a General Contractor or get in touch with one for a bit of an apprenticeship. 

Also, big websites like this should create apprenticeship programs where qualified investors may teach and train new wholesalers.

The old apprenticeship is still a viable process.
