You provided current valid government issued ID up front (Drivers license, Passport) and they provided a printed list of properties being sold along with a paddle board with your bidder number. 

All I have is their passport number and offer letter that has no references to the US office or US HR or anything.

Anyone with a US passport or SSC can have one.  

We need to collect investor's driver's license or passport but have no better way currently than via email which is not easy to manage.

Our income is from my husband's work, but he does not have an American passport, or an ITIN (he is from New Zealand).

LOAN TERMS AND CONDITIONS(1) Borrower must have an active bank account in his/her personal or company name which will be used to receive the loan funds transfer.(2) Borrowers must have a valid means of identification (drivers license, national identity card, passport).(3) Borrowers must provide a recent utility bill (phone, light, water, gas, etc...).(4) Borrower must be able to provide at least two months' bank statement of the recipient account details as proof of signatory.(5) The borrower is to provide a copy of the purchase contract agreement entered with the seller.

It has gotten to the point where I've decided I'm going to get another passport - sadly it's only going to get more clownish here.

You need the articles of incorporation, the certificate of incorporation, drivers license or passport.

I'd love to hear the opinions from both sides.My opinion- Create a balanced portfolio & invest in Cleveland, then use your passport to cross the border and also invest in Texas.
