**Looking for advice**- Overseas American investor

Good morning and a happy new year to the BP community!

I am an American living in the Netherlands, and will be investing in the Kansas City area this year together with my husband while living abroad. We are looking to own about a dozen or so SFH's to start with.

Our situation is a bit tricky with regards to securing financing. I have not been working for the past two years, but we have savings set aside. Our income is from my husband's work, but he does not have an American passport, or an ITIN (he is from New Zealand). I have all my tax returns in order up until the end of 2018, which is when I stopped working.

My questions are:

What type of borrower would we be categorized as?

Any suggestions on who we could possibly contact for this type of financing?

Any information/leads, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
