Peter, good questions, I don't have a definitive list, but let me give it a shot:- surveyor, engineer- architect- project manager (can be the GC)- book-keeping, accounts payable- port-a-john service- excavator- basement contractor- water and sewer contractor (we needed directional boring)- contractor material supply house- framers, rough carpenters- roofers (gutters)- window installer- disposal crew, job site cleaners, dumpsters- fireplace contractor- HVAC- plumber- electrician- insulation (spray, stuff, blow in)- drywaller- texture- painters- finish carpenters (doors, trim, millwork)- stain contractor- cabinet installer- hardwood floor installer- tile contractor- carpet installers- siding contractor- caulker- flat-work contractor (concrete)- back fill / finish grade (excavator)- landscaper- installer (closet shelves, door hardware, towel bars etc)- cleaning crew- RealtorIn Wisconsin the GC markup is typically about 8% - for about 500 hours of work - just so you know what you sign up for.
