Our dining facilities on base (which offer free meals to juniors/dirt cheap meals to seniors) are habitually becoming more and more empty with individuals choosing to spend money daily at burger king, subway etc. 

And this happened . . .They got free meals and a cot courtesy of the police deptartment. 

But if you think crime in this country is bad now, imagine what it would be if whole generations of kids and teens had no choice but to hit you across the back of your head or kick in your door to get money for their next meal.
