You can work with a list broker to pull a custom list for your area.

So if you're wanting to sell data, you would need to know; what your customers want, if you can gather the data they want, if you can try to automate it, and find a pricing structure that works. 

I've also read on forums that the customer service is super limited with this method, by email only, so no personal touch at all, which obviously, is the cornerstone of a real estate agent's value, along with their knowledge and expertise of their local market.The day we can take emotions out of selling or buying real estate is the day realtors will cease to exist.

State LLCs, title companies, paperwork turnaround, agent customs, local banks, insurance.... this part was a little like building relationships in a foreign culture - even words are pronounced differently here.

In the meantime, we have started referring excess new customers to a local "competitor" who is trying to launch his similar service business and support a family.
