They need help themselves often times too but without an incident taking place and police called to the scene at the time of the incident you have very few options.

Another alternative would be to JV with someone who lives in the state side so at least 1 partner isn't too far to keep ane ye eon it.I have a property out here in BC Vancouver, but that wasn't done deliberately to be an investor... good thing I lucked out on appreciation, but to get into the market here for a neutral cashflow or slightly positive just doesn't make sense to me.I do plan to attend some upcoming local meetups and check out the scene (first time!)
