All the colors in the house from cabinets, carpet to smoke stained walls were horrible.

The property looks cosmetically in bad shape, carpet stained, horrible smell (cat/dog pee), smudges in walls, beat up cabinets with damaged hardware, jagged laminate countertops, stinky & dirty bathrooms.

I am also 48 and looking to finally do something positive about my life and my future retirement dreams.My father died in July of 2014 leaving me all alone in the world and having to go through probate to get his house.Then I did something horrible last year without thinking clearly,I sold it!!!

The following day, I went over to see if the paint had killed the horrible smell in the basement and noticed in one of the corners that several (30+) small blotches of brown, SMELLY, liquid had seeped up through the concrete floor.

Galvanized pipe, OTOH, is absolutely horrible.
