Also, I would post hours of operation if the machines noise could disturb nearby tenants.In short set the expectation right from the beginning and fairly enforce.

The Italians when we were returning late at night shouting and dance disturb their neighbours , of course , I became hard with Italian and so things were equilibrated.I will tell you about two more interesting cases were  last summer.

After about the 10th caller, I set up a google voice #, put on "do not disturb", and just made the voice message give info on the property -- instructing people to leave a VM or text if they would like to set up a showing.So far its worked but keeping track of who wants to see it and when and everyones names etc. has been really challenging.

My suggestion would be to keep the str on the ground or basement level to minimize disturbance to your LTR.

On top of that, you live under them and don't want to have them start making noise and try to disturb you at all hours.Why they move-- buying a house or whatever--- is really irrelevant.
