Knowing what parameters these investors are looking for, he goes into mostly uninhabited homes and tries to negotiate a sale with the owner.But anyways - might I suggest The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller if you haven't read it already?

Ive also read Rich Dad Poor Dad and Gary Keller's Millionair Real Estate Investor as well as Ken McElroy's ABCs of RE Investing  as well as a bunch of other good reads and have absolutely fallen in love with this thing.
