@Todd Freeman Jr you get in touch with the owner via sending them a letter, postcard or leaving a note on the door in case they come back to check in on the property. 

Recently I received a postcard with a google image of our rental house on the front, definitely caught my eye and I paused to read it.

I waited seven weeks and sent out postcards to the same list of people. 

My yellow postcard says in red handwritten on the front: Aloha John Doe,I want to buy your property at 123 Main Street.

So currently after I get my targeted property list in an excel sheet with property I want to purchase, owners name and mail address I send this off to a company who puts it on a postcard and mails it off for us.

I was listening to PB the other day in the car and they had a sponsor that had a website that would help you find off market deals and send postcards to the owners to try and scare up some deals.

There's been other companies that have been sending me postcards about this for my primary residence here in the bay area.

For the past couple of months, I've been driving for dollars, sending out hand written yellow letters, sending post cards via the Deal Machine app.
