I own my own business as an architectural designer and have designed and built houses with various GCs over the years.  

Omaha is a very architecturally pleasing city - but I was surprised a the low yield opportunities I was finding.

I designed and oversaw the interior architecture, floor plan, and all finishes and interior design.

It's architecturally stimulating with beautiful window trim and crown molding under the soffit.- The neighborhood is a mix.

I have a few older properties and they are, pardon my french, built like brick $hit houses :)Also, depending on the building, if it has come architectural character, once you clean it up with paint, landscaping, windows etc it will stand out from the other generic apartments in the area.

I have a background in and currently work in the Architectural Design field, specializing in Multi-family Design and have made it a lifetime goal to establish a career in Real Estate Investing. 

The main difference is that I was bringing the money and the deal, and gave sweat equity to my friend who did all the project management and architectural and interior design.

I fell in love with the city’s rich history and architecture, it’s the only city where I’ve been able to see Olmsted Parks, a Henry Hobson Richardson Psychiatric Hospital and a Frank Lloyd Wright all in one municipality!

We were able to basically brute force attack this into the erentpayment system, using the customer service rep to temporarily lower the rent amount due, but it was not at all an elegant solution.I think with a bit of software architecture rework, erentpayment would be the best option out there.
