that is what we normally do but I do market it as having the generator so that water and heat isn't an issue in a storm.   

It is 7 feet high finished basement remodeled with wide plank wood flooring, drop ceiling and gypsum boards, heated withbaseboard heaters hydronic. thanks for input. 

Same with heat; there are many stories of landlords who go by their rentals in the middle of winter and find the heat jacked up to searing levels, tenants walking around in shorts and half the windows in the place open.

Today the tenant called saying they had no heat for months.

Just tonight, 11/1 I had a no heat call.

I'm an active multi-family commercial real estate agent here in LA for the past 9 years and I have gotten into heated discussions with smart people regarding this topic.

Even with a set funding, there is still a lot of flexibility.Permanent life insurance seems to be a very heated subject with some people saying that it is the worse thing on the market, while other like me and a lot of high net worth individuals and banks are using it as a very powerful tool to increase their return while gaining a lot of tax, asset protection and estate planning advantages.

I would suggest winterizing, drain the water lines, antifreeze in toilets, leave lowest faucet open etc, incase the heat shuts off
