I sold fuller brush door to door.. was good at it but 50 bucks a week was not going to cut it.. bagged groceries for 2.18 an hour which was pretty good with 25 cent gas. and I dreamed of being a checker with the 10 dollar an hour pay and what would I do with all that money.

rejection in many forms is SOP for door knocking  direct mail any type of advertising really.My first job way back when was selling Fuller Brush door to door.. much like being on a Mormom missions or a Witness coming to your door.. or selling magazines.. etc.good advise above.. when you knock on the door ALWAYS step back.. and down a step if there is one..

I evicted the tenant, put in my own tenant (single guy handy-man going through a divorce) I trimmed out the brush surrounding the house and had him cleaned it out.
