Right now,I am just about to begin to my real estate investor.I am H1B working visa who have a full-time job in financial industry.After search tons of the threads,I have the questions regarding the legal issue for my investing.As far as I know,if I invest real estate as H1B holder,I have to be passive investor,it should not be business,because H1B is limited to sponsored employer.So,legally,what is really passive invest as it comes to real estate investing?

HELOCs are just secured credit cards.... think of your normal Visa credit card's interest rate v your HELOC's interest rate.
