I expressed that since since this will be an all cash deal the down pymt should not be huge deal since they would receive at the same time, but this seems like an earnest deposit at contract and balance at closing, right?

chevis, just goes to show you that there are always opposing views. while you think it is a bad thing to take religion out, i favor it. not going to get into a debate on here, but i think that's what makes our country great. that we can have different views and neither one of us gets harmed for expressing them :)

Often times, the call is to give the receiving party a paycheck, either through a RE commission (agents), a seller (gets paid from the sale of the property), or a service provider of some sort.Many here and other places have expressed their thoughts on this matter stating that people are lazy or have poor business qualities.
