You aren't buying a private jet but you aren't waiting Mac&Cheese to go on sale to buy 100 boxes to make sure you can eat either.

It also points out things you may have overlooked, which will have to be fixed & paid for.My first advice would be to check out other properties in the area - don't put in a jetted soaker tub & tile surround when all the other places have acrylic tubs & glue-up surrounds.

If the plumber used the jetting method of clearing the piping, it's probably worse now than the original camera images.

I have ripped my the basement of my new house down to the studs/cinder blocks and after my last attempt at drywall, tape, mud and texture, I'm ready to hand the next project over to a professional.

Where the banks counted on investors to put money into reserves and or buy other RE.. well they bought vacations , cars jet ski's boats and who knows what other kind of consumables..

Our dry waller for instance has 600 plus employees  and a JET  .. dry wall is not Sexy but its profitable  same with Electrictions HVAC  Framers that know what they are doing..
