Hey Y'all

Here's some encouragement for those who are on the fence, down and out, or just getting started. The pandemic has plagued a lot of us financially. We all have friends and family members who suffered significantly, it has been very sad to see this happen. As bad as the pandemic has been, it has created the greatest opportunity to start a business. Which I did, two of them construction and landscaping. I founded these companies with my best friend and my older brother. My phone hasn't stopped ringing, no one wants to work except us and people know it. We are on track this month to gross 20k in construction services. (I know its a small amount for your multimillionaires out there but it's not bad for us young guys!) Our goal is to end the year netting 50k in profit.

Some of you know, I own two properties, a duplex I Airbnb and a 4 unit. I've hit record breaking bookings, October has been my best month I grossed over 4k. Since March I've grossed 3-3.5k a month. I normally make somewhere between 2k-2.5k on a good month pre-pandemic.  Can't complain at all.

For you young people (and older!) get out there and hustle, there is too much money to be made right now! If you're willing to work for it. My family is blessed with the bounty we've collected with the seeds we sown.. This can be your family too! I encourage all of you to keep moving towards your goals of financial freedom.

Oh and to my former bosses who fired me, thank you! You got me on the right path and I can't be happier.

nice post..  TRADES are on fire.. the average American teen is not learning the trades like a few generations ago.

ergo we have imported so much of the unkilled and skilled labor into the construction field and they are taking over the vacuum left .

good job.. I know my skilled trades folks that scale their business are making huge money far more than owning rentals thats for sure..  they may buy them as a by product.

Our dry waller for instance has 600 plus employees  and a JET  .. dry wall is not Sexy but its profitable  same with Electrictions HVAC  Framers that know what they are doing..  My painter has 140 employees and the most Awesome Marion Berry farm  those Berries are to die for  ..   etc etc.. keep at it scale at a pace that works for you and just move up the food chain..  And you can keep doing real estate with your profits if thats what you want to do.
