The fire marshal and the Section 8 inspectors are okay with us having battery powered devices.

Hired a local home inspector (paid him). 

All because of an ignorant inspector.  

Does anyone have suggestions on:-Finding a reputable Home Inspector?

In this case it was a building inspector because the $400 I spent for an inspection is worth the $20,000 in headaches.

Keep job site as clear as possible as inspectors and investors come by unannounced to the site.

Find one that can offer you leads and training as well as all the supporting connections such as a good lender, title company, inspectors, appraisers, etc.Also when interviewing with various teams look to see if you think your personality will be a good fit for that office/team.

I have a home inspector meeting me there this Thursday.
