If you have a portal or on line file with credit data in it you need to make sure you stay in control of it and it doesn't get sent all over the web.   

@Joshua Dorkin Are you taking the approach of Web Chat Client that is XMPP compatible {a back-end XMPP server}? 

Usually in most areas you can go to the county's web site and look it up by address and you will get name.

But there are a lot of great (free) articles out there on the web that go into detail about how credit scores/reports work, how scores are calculated, and how to fix credit problems. 

People find websites while searching on the web.

People are typing in "Im be-hide on my house payments in City, I need help" People do search locally for help so make sure your website is optimized to be found online for those targeted keyword. 

Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be a long drawn out discussion about Iphone/Android, I've seen so many on the web and don't care to see it here on BP.
