Village of Babylon bans them but other towns might not, especially where they’re common and have strong foundations like in Towns of Southhampton, East Hampton and fire island.

Neal I built 26 homes there ( the village at Rand Road was my project )  and then did about half a dozen infillsand funded maybe 3 for other builders.. market is robust.. and solid.the reason I am not there now.. was this was 5 to 6 years ago before building got white hot in Portland and we were able to get our subs to come out from East side Portland.. today you have a hard time getting subs from one side of Portland to the other side.. 

The Dells itself is far to strict with detailed reporting monthly of guests to the Lake Delton village, and 11 other pages of requirements.

I also recommend looking into Southern Orchards, Franklinton, Italian Village, Victorian Village.

The Stuytown complex in the East Village is a professionally managed property home to 30,000 residents.

I think that we are in one of the best rental markets in the City (Elmwood village) it was selected in the top ten APA best places to live 3 years back, Forbes listed it recently in a list of something good I forget what it was now…Anyway, I am in the process of closing on an 8 unit a few blocks from my house now and am making an effort to ramp up my investing in the near future.

some neighborhoods to look at for columbus: King Lincoln (43203), OTE and South of Main and Old Oaks (43205), Southern Orchards and Driving Park (43206), franklinton (43222), south columbus and merion village and hungarian village and reeb hosack (43207), whitehall (43213)

Based on your maps it looks like the South Wrigley area should be on my radar as well (just north of the 1 as you mentioned), in addition to East Village (basically downtown) and Carroll Park/Rose Park South.
