Repainted cabinetry is always going to be higher maintenance than the original finish. 

They can come in, clean it up, or just repaint a little bit, and sell it for a ~25% roi before closing costs.

The agreement was to repair and repaint all the minor/major holes and dents in the walls prior to painting and they did not do this after the job was done I had to go through the whole house (2300sq) fixing them myself.

First, the installation quote was higher than expected because labor costs were high - commercial plumbers are licensed and in short supply - and also the existing plumbing of each unit had to be brought up to code (so if you have an older property expect extra costs), and finally walls had to be repaired and repainted.

It does have some damage, but it can be repainted and repaired.

You spend 2 months cleaning it out, using an ozone machine to get the smell out, repainting it with oil based Kilz, sanding the floors and replacing some of them, updating the kitchen and two bathrooms, putting on a new roof and new HVAC. 

We're going to perform the most work ourselves, so in terms of money we are looking ate $1500 for replacing vs $600 for repainting, plus the time we put in it.Thank you!
