It looks good now, but I'll have to see if it peels or not....

And there has been quite a bit of setbacks as soon as we peeled off the original drywall.

Anyway, I got home and plopped down on the couch, peeled my shoes off, was watching a tv show when the back door doorbell rang.  

If its older, the new paint statement may mean that the old potentially lead based paint is peeling. 

The home is/was being renovated slowly, but recently was cited with violations from the city of Toledo (roof repair, door replacement, paint peeling, windows need replacement, etc).

The exterior needs major work, the paint is peeling and given the age of the house I have to assume there is lead paint. 

They can feed grapes to their toddlers without peeling them or cutting them in half.

Are the roofing shingles in multiple layers, dry, cracked, and peeling up?

Most likely we always had to "shore up" the frame and weight of the building with beams to just hold up the roof while we worked to replace the rotted timber.. it actually gets kind of dangerous at times.Moral of the story, peel off the veneer or sheet rock until you see no more dry rot, then you can estimate the cost

There are a few other maintenance type items like no peeling paint with this type of loan but your lender/agent can help you with these.
