The goal of this site is to educate and help people and in no way does his posting generate any traffic for his signature.It sounds like you have not gotten title insurance yet and one of the condition of the title insurance will most likely be they change to town to the correct town.

The living room functions essentially as a hallway for traffic up/down and in/out, rendering the living room useless as a place to hang out, unless you want people passing through all the time.

Anyway the signage perpendicular to the direction of traffic is most effective so the truck would be better than your banner.That is really the only way around a good signage ordinance.
