While this is difficult while managing out of the country it will be worthwhile of any legal issues with the manager or the tenant arise.

It might be worth while to find a partner that likes doing the numbers and you can use your strengths in another way.   

Check with CPA but furniture has its own depreciation schedule (7 years I believe).Ultimately I would check with your CPA to see if it is even worthwhile, and your lender to see if it is even possible.

But if it's Sarasota, I can hit Yoders and the Ringling while I'm there, so it might be a worthwhile trip regardless.
