The building was in rough shape, and will undergo a full gut renovation that will include brand new framing, plumbing, electrical, and all finish work.

The other side is currently under going the rehab process and i will the rate will be between $750-800.

Downtown is definitely undergoing a revitalization with the recent addition of several great restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, etc.

I recently realized the city requires all single-family rentals to undergo an inspection process and $65 application each time the property changes tenants.  

I am currently shopping for my second rental property in an area that is undergoing revitalization and should offer nice capital appreciation down the road.The problem I am running into is this area already has a crowded rental market, including many section 8 properties.

Looking for advice to make the most of the situation.I am currently undergoing a major rehab.

I targeted areas that were around economic engines, within neighborhoods or areas that were beginning to turn (about 25% of the houses were renovated/rehabbed and the surrounding area is undergoing development).

Those tend to be most affected by shorter term shockwaves and stoppages like this.

As stated before, if this happened in one of our units we would require the tenant to undergo certified remedial gun safety and provide documentation for such before allowing their lease to proceed.

What I am saying is I can't be certain as I don't work for the SBA.The reason I started this thread was to provide a resource for rental property owners to utilize if the needed assistance during this tragic times.The reality is the nature of this Economic and Health Disaster is so immense that the SBA program has had to undergo numerous updates and revisions.
