I found it's 15-16 years LOL.So the first downturn was in 1992, followed by the increase until subprime stopped the party in 2008, then Bernanke Helicopter market saves the market, but Fed trying to increase the rate unsucessfuly in 2019, and then they use the covid inflation to pause the market in 2022.in my own analysis, these cycles are not created by nature but it's intentionally programmed by the Fed.

It's really causing me to think and pause on taking on a partner.

No pause in distributions.

What many investors are learning is that this leads to terrible outcomes including paused distributions and loss of principal invested.You are technically correct that debt will always multiply returns.

Three out of three of the syndications stopped distributions "paused" in their terms. 1 of the funds "paused" distributions.

Banks were pausing on foreclosing during the crash on properties with large hoa balances (they already had too many properties)so the hoa’s were stuck with non paying residents since no one would bid on their hoa foreclosures since they all had upside down underlying mtgs.

I don’t know any bank that will pause/freeze your mortgage payments for a situation like yours. 

This gave me pause but the salespeople were adamant that once I got my first deal, I’d be laughing at how I balked at a $10k investment in myself and my education.
