If you need some connections, I run the most active group of small landlords in the city and have a network of connections that you could potentially leverage.

I would also add networking and connecting with local agents in your area.

We're been mostly looking at single families, but that's because we don't have a huge network yet of others interested.

I'd done some reading in the past and thought a few of the main Canadian banks had such specialty trust divisions that could help you with plan setup.As for finding investments, networking with other investors, real estate agents, etc. is the way to go.Brian, from what I've heard is that CAN banks  make it extremely difficult to setup.
