I have recently been investing my time and energy buidling my real estate network and traveling to Asia looking for commercial and residential real estate growth areas, and opportnuties.

I am guessing it all comes in from Asia and is probably about as un-green as it gets.

By the way, we are in Mexico currently, and three months ago, we were in SE Asia! 

In Asia where we live where you stand within your family is considered where you stand in society in general because every body's life revolves around their family.

Am I personally comfortable retiring 5 years later than I otherwise could in exchange for going to Europe, South America, and Asia in the (hopefully) first 1/3 of my life?  

I am not sure which one would be the best investment so I am asking people with more experience.Both projects are in the same city and area, in south east Asia.

I don't want this post getting political but with things heating up around the world, mostly Europe and Asia, there's talk that we need to not be so reliant on other countries.

Great advice, great pointers - my own 2 cents are - consider alternatives with high cashflow, such as Asia (to toot our own, and others', horns).

I am just getting into RE investing, with the objective to create a passive income stream, spreading of my portfolio, and generally to counter inflationary effects.I am currently living abroad (Asia) for a couple of years, for work.
