.- In regards to "...I would suggest you look at entire buildings in addition to (or rather than) condominiums." -- I do not have the funds to do this, unless you're talking about duplexes, in which case I'd still have to take on a 50% mortgage with a 150K investment fund.Strata bylaws, politcs, and prices are all something I don't miss after having lived in a condo for a long time, but I do like the idea of not having to deal with maintenance issues that a fullly owned building brings upon.
