We get people flushing anything and everything.

Also make sure the tenants are not flushing anything they shouldn't flush.

I know some people cut their weekday prices super low just to increase their occupancy rates during the other 10 months but you’re not really making much of a profit that way, you’re just increasing your headaches and increasing the wear and tear on your house.Tough to cover your exorbitantly high property taxes & power bills & septic tank repairs (every time a kid flushes their shoe down your toilet) with super low occupancy & low nightly rates for 10 months of the year.

The one i recently installed in one my rentals is priced appropriately and has a 1.5 GPM rating.In addition to the shower head, I also installed a 2-button flush toilet system.  

And they are flush from the sale now as well.You never know, it might be a long ago citation for a minor thing that was painted over and this will be a trifle, but....6) Get the tenants on your side by doing everything within deadlines and keeping them in the loop.

Wait for it to cure, then sand it down with heavier grit sandpaper until you are close to flush with the surface, then switch to wet/dry sandpaper in progressive grits to about 2000 grit.

This is the simplest method, but it also means your tenants are more likely to abuse the utilities by leaving windows open with the heat or A/C running, leaving lights on, ignoring the toilet that constantly flushes on its own, etc.3.
