We actually terminated their lease and we don't have to cite any specific reason in NC, we just have to give 7 days notice, but we did let them know that they had three clear lease infractions. 1) Drugs are not permitted 2) they were smoking on the property/in the house and 3) their renters insurance had expired. 

There have been numerous issues; drugs on the property, unauthorized tenants, damages to the property, unauthorized pets and unpaid utility bills.

I believe there are actually laws regarding how to handle a house (and the rehab) that was a drug lab.

So it's really dealers choice at this point LOL

Murder and drug possession are two very different charges though, and I doubt it would be that easy for you.
