I chose to buy a condo in Santa Clarita, not only for the price, but because I like living there a lot more (I used to live in Valley Village near North Hollywood; my significant other lives there and he hates the congestion).

If you live in town, you can get to the front gate in 10 to 15 minutes and if you're in Vandenburg Village, you can typically get to the gate in 5 minutes once you get on the 1.
