And I feel that a company that is gathering that information from every user has a higher chance of being targeted by hackers than one that only gathers it from the few that it's required from.Most platforms will let you wire the money over instead, which has its own security risks, but at least you don't have to potentially turn over the keys to your entire bank account to a stranger.By the way, you are not unusual in having problems getting a timely response from their customer service.

If the tenants utility bills were unusually high because of the broken door you may have been able to help them with that, but the tenant needs to inform you in writing of the problem before they can withhold rent and then they need to put the rent in an escrow account until the repairs are done.
