With my partner, Jimmy, we just started a Meeup called OKC Real Estate Deal Maker Sessions.  

The only thing is I recently started a coaching session with Tax Lien University online  now i wished i would have waited and not jumped the gun so quickly should have weighed all my options first.

Josh, I think there are a decent-sized handful of investors and related professionals (agents, contractors, etc.) here from RI, so I guess that's a "yes".I've been doing real estate in RI for over 10 years now, I am a cash buyer, and while I try to stay away from big words like "successful", from time to time I have taught some beginner sessions at the RI Real Estate Investor Group (rireig.com), which meets once a month in Warwick, usually on the 3rd Thursday.I have no financial connection/benefit from recommending them or another group in southern Mass, Black Diamond REI (blackdiamondrei.com), but if there are successful investors in the RI area I'd bet at least a few of them attend such groups regularly.Yes, whatever your definition of "success" is, it's probably achievable, even in Rhode Island.

Chris Lockhart I go to their meeting sessions when they have them on.

He refuses sessions of overtime at $150-200/hr so he can fix his own fence. . . .

I lead the rental session. 

@Tony Choe, I agree with an above response about wholesaling simply because as a personal trainer you have access to so many people that it can come up in every day training session conversation. 

We maintained a calm demeanor and eventually his late night emails ceased; he must have moved on to another property and another landlord.But the point remains, and it is an observation made over an extended period: most of the queries that come from very late night tenant sessions on the internet lead nowhere and are often strange.

I've been dragging my feet to get back to the Madison REIA but tomorrow night is the general session so I think I'm going to check it out again!

Greensboro Deal Makers session (where wholesalers present their properties to investors etc) is on the first Tuesday of every month at the Embassy Suites off Hwy 68 near I-40 & there's the Triad REIA meeting on, I think, the 1st and 3rd Tuesday @ Logan's roadhouse on Wendover.
