Hi, my name is Helen Black and my partner and I are beginning our journey into the real estate business.  We currently live in Greensboro, NC and I am employed by Cone Health. 

We are looking to begin by wholesaling to build the capital to flip houses and own rental properties.  I joined BiggerPockets because I am hoping to get guidance and advice from people who are already involved in real estate, especially from people who are currently working in North Carolina's market.  I also joined to network with people involved in real estate and create business relationships.

The forums and keyword alerts are a great way to connect with others locally. I am in Summerfield, myself. 

Greensboro Deal Makers session (where wholesalers present their properties to investors etc) is on the first Tuesday of every month at the Embassy Suites off Hwy 68 near I-40 & there's the Triad REIA meeting on, I think, the 1st and 3rd Tuesday @ Logan's roadhouse on Wendover. There is also a Thursday meeting but I cannot recall the schedule.

I'm not sure about those Triad REIA dates/times but do a quick Google search and you'll find it.
