Is it an elderly person that sits around all day?

Just contact one of the elders and ask if they would consider a sale.

I came across this elderly man through my work and he mentioned about selling his place and asked if i knew a realtor.

I withheld the cost to repair and supplied all documentation, but got some nasty voicemails about how I am stealing from the elderly, and this is how I make money, etc.The lesson here: I really prefer not to rent to people who haven't rented in the past.  

Posting this to help an elderly landlord: A rental company just called her for a reference check (saying this tenant wants to move into their apt. in the last week of March) on one of her current tenants whose current lease in San Jose, CA ends in August.

All of a sudden the front door opens and the realtor walks in with these two elderly women.

She is relatively healthy and not "elderly".What is the best way to approach this in a way that will keep her happy and in her house, but also put us in a position to be able to own the house now or in the future?

The problem is that 3 of the tenants are elderly and on fixed incomes and the seller is concerned that they will need to move out when I take over and increase the rent.

I had a strong feeling that it was owned by an elderly person.  

I have another personal home 50 miles away that I am currently residing majority of the time to take care of an elder family member.
