I'm looking to pickup some multifamily real estate but the barrier to entry is crazy in my local market.

If the market moves against you, it takes too much capital to fix it.Contrast that to this scenario:  let’s say that the acquisition loan was 60% LTV originally, and after a market drop of 30% the loan is now 85%.  

It also features a minisplit HVAC system and PVC exterior covering.We plan to market it as a vacation rental, given its potential appeal to eco-conscious travelers and those looking for a distinctive getaway experience.I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experience with selling or financing geodesic domes.

However right now it is VERY competitive in the tax lien market so it is going to be very hard to find something good.

I am now at a point in life where I realized retirement isn’t far off and I need to find something outside of stock markets and 401k’s to invest in.

MLS hands down will get the seller the best price in the market at the time. on having these in 3 markets I got to think finding a buyer to buy all three is going to be near impossible. 

Look at their marketing strategy.

(We had already given them a reduction on the sale price under market.) 

So for the time being many lenders will probably look at market rates for a long term rental.I hope you find what you are looking for and it works cash flow wise.

Where I live, we still have a severe shortage of homes--median time on market is still 7 days and it would likely be shorter if not for delayed negations being the norm.
