I would like to build up my rolodex - i'm looking to meet with people who I could hire as part of our "Crew" (handymen, contractors, inspectors, and general hands on repair and mgmt people). 

The inspector comes to inspect the house then approve it and leave.

I'm not sure if there are "Finders" for this type of things but I was thinking about hiring a house inspector to essentially do my legwork for me and I’d send him to the under $5k ones I see on Craigslist… Any other thoughts?

You could put a lock box in the front so your inspectors could come and go also. 

We have a HUD house under contract and are in a 10 day inspection period and called to have utilities turned on for the inspector.

When I've bought houses in the past, I selected and paid an inspector and received the report.  

Hi everyone,I was curious if any experience local Memphis investors have an inspector that they would recommend for a SFR in the Shelby County area.

The way to know for sure is to have it inspected, either by a home inspector or an engineer.The next thing to me is the legal situation. 

I am trying this here first before having to pay an inspector a large sum to only view outside walkway and not inside structure.
