From what I’ve observed (I’ve never actually wholesaled or attempted to btw, it doesn’t add up to me) you can learn a decent amount of things that may benefit you if you continue to pursue a professional life in real estate beyond wholesaling. 2.Its the shiny object that seems to spark interest.Real estate is a fascinating, diverse industry full of challenge and opportunity for those who earn it.

There's a number of new (mostly tech) businesses moving into Reno in addition to Tesla so you really can't go wrong investing anywhere in the Reno-Sparks area as the housing market is booming!

However, if only comments that are bright and sparkly and always positive are deemed fit for publication, you soon have a very dull board.

Not sure which market you're looking to invest in but with inventory being low in most places, you have to be proactive and move quickly if something really sparks your interest.  

I have come across a company who focuses on one story ranches and customizes them to make them senior friendly and it sparked my interest.

I wouldn’t buy and hold most deals in this market, but I have properties in Sacramento, and I’m not throwing myself on the railroad tracks either.Fresno has one of the highest poverty rates in the country, and the construction of a new college in Merced in 2005 sparked real estate construction and investment in a lightly populated area.

The travel time to Reno is about the same as traveling to Reno from Sparks.
