Do your research on neighborhoodscout, city-data etc. to get a general idea of what’s influencing these RE markets in addition to getting BP folks perspective.

After the past housing melt-down it seems  that appraisers are more scared of being influenced than of being inaccurate.

Two major real estate policies president Trump is supporting - Negative rates - (trump directly tweeted today)- Fannie/Freddy restructuring - ( more of administration support)These are two MAJOR influences in the market, I see there being pros and cons of both curious on opinions on how this influences/impacts values/buyer pools etc

Are you saying when you and your team (PM) sought quotes, one of the distributors used marketing jargon (the subject matter) to influence potential customers to purchase their new equipment?

Most importantly, I have two nephews (12 & 15yo) back home that I want to be around more to influence and help raise as their own parents are essentially unaccountable.

There are a ton of people who do not think being an agent requires any skill and advise their family members that way and no matter what you do or say for some people what their family says will trump what you say. if uncle Charlie had a bad experience with an agent that was a friend and uncle Charlie has influence over your friend that could be a reason you don't land them as a client.
