You might be asking the wrong questions at Fidelity (not sure if they do or do not allow this), but you aren't technically investing directly in real estate, you are investing in private equity partnerships that are investing in real estate.They might not want you buying direct interests in real estate, but are okay with private equity investments.

Regardless of this, The State declared me the owner after going through the abandonment process and I am not finding anything on the State website for a redemption period of personal property such as a MH on private property.

When people here send me private messages or ask me on a call, one of the many things I'd tell them if they want to buy pre-construction is to check the developer's construction license and that it complies with the zoning rules (and I'll tell them if I know what those are).You woudn't believe the amount of people that are ready to put a sizeable amount of cash on the table but won't spend the little extras needed to make sure they don't lose it.

@Jonathan GreeneI agree - I like to offer an alternative option which can be negative and I get plenty of private messages of me being mean, out for people etc.As an example, I am Sorry, but my opinion is if you get 100% financing I think it is ultra high risk especially for someone new to real estate.
