So, my wife had someone install one of those tents and the car is parked inside the tent and covered with the car cover that came with the car and a layer of blankets and plastic on top of the car cover.

EDIT - almost forgot about the plastic being used for the dryer exhaust - that has to go and you should replace with either rigid metal or aluminum flex foil exhaust ducting.

This is no longer strictly legal throughout the country because if, suddenly, any part of the water supply piping is changed to plastic piping, the outlet becomes ungrounded.
