Has anyone invested in a manufactured mobile home that sits on solid foundation that came with acreage?

Having issues finding a company to refi a 20 y.o. manufactured home in Sacramento area of CA.

You can also go to semihandmade.com for even nice faces for Ikea boxes.Often times, you can google flat front modern cabinets and get to manufacturer's sites, and they will link into their local suppliers as well.

I put up letters in the common area saying I am now the landlord in both english and Spanish and provided my contact information and instructions for sending rent/contacting me. 

I believe the tiny home / manufactured homes are going to fill a gap in the market.

Here is a slightly insane idea: See if you can order a bathroom "pod" from some local manufactured/modular home builder and set it on a permanent foundation. 

I've heard of some people being able to do successful flips with mobile/manufactured homes. 

We have about 1100 square feet of land and have been considering putting up a Single family (maybe 2 family if space and budget allows) modular or manufactured home.I don't think there's such a home in my city so being first to market is exciting and scary at same time.

I found for almost all financing of manufactured homes (that's technically what they are if manufactured after 1976) that the issues can be:  what kind of foundation are they on (is it concrete or just a gravel pad),  how many owners has it had or has it been moved more than once, and age.   

Don't feel bad for doing this, it is the instructed sickness of our society, you were trained to be a consumer and that's exactly how your living, a consumer lifestyle.
