Hello Everyone! I'm New, but excited to be here!

I'm new here on BiggerPockets, as well as new to investing.  I have been studying everything I can find, from books, articles, forums, podcasts and webinars, for the past few months and am ready and excited to get started!

I live in Bellingham, Washington and plan to start with flipping houses to generate the revenue to invest in small multi-family rentals. It's an expensive market here though, so I chuckle when I hear talk on the podcast about buying this or that house for $40,000.  Finding one here for under $200k would be a miracle!

I have about $10,000 to get started so I'll have to use private lenders and/or hard money to get the first deal going.  The hardest part is getting in when you have no track record.

I would love to hear any feedback on your experiences with hard money lenders that have an easy entry point and are good to work with, especially for newbies.

I may be new, but I'm serious about my financial future.  I have already done everything to get my business set up legally and protected.

I look forward to getting to know some folks here! Cheers!
